Hi! I'm Katie. I grew up in Hampstead and have always loved Carroll County for its beauty, kindness, and strong sense of community. My grooming journey began at the age of 11 when I started working as a professional dog bather. Through my teens and early 20s, I honed my skills and developed a deep passion for grooming, which led me to found Summer Meadows Pet Spa in 2011.

My goal has always been to create a serene and stress-free environment where both pets and their owners feel welcome and at ease. At Summer Meadows, I enjoy offering a personalized experience that caters to the unique needs of each pet, ensuring they leave the spa looking and feeling their best.

When I'm not at the spa, you'll find me enjoying my other passions: gardening, thrifting, designing, and riding my motorcycle. I also love traveling and attending grooming trade shows across the country to stay on top of the latest trends and techniques.
